Settings Overview: Role-Based Settings

The FabHub Settings feature is organized based on user roles to ensure that each user only has access to the tools and configurations relevant to their responsibilities.

FabHub supports three primary roles:

• Admin
• Manager
• Staff

When a user logs in, the Settings page dynamically displays only the available sections (cards) based on their assigned role and access permissions.

This role-based structure helps:

• Maintain data security
• Prevent unauthorized changes
• Simplify the user experience by reducing unnecessary options

Each role has different levels of access in the Settings hub (cards and sidebar):

• Admin – All sections: Organization, Users, Finance, Governance, Items, Operations, Notifications, and Integrations
• Manager – Users, Items, Operations, Notifications, and Integrations (Organization, Finance, and Governance are not shown)
• Staff – Operations and Notifications only

This ensures that users interact only with the settings they need, keeping the system structured and easy to navigate.

Where to find settings

Either:

• Open the FabHub app at mrp.fabhub.app and open Settings from the account menu (avatar), or from the Settings icon in the top bar when it is visible (not in the left module rail).
• Go directly to Settings.
